Title: What's the best way of sharing your music?

There is no function like "Sharing" in MC like there is in iTunes is it?

I got a backup of my collection on a server. This server is in rather heavy use (disk activity), so I don't really like the idea of a library server making it more busy. I COULD put it up for other users to use, but I'm sticking to local copy my self. HD space will never be a problem regarding MP3.

Some of the users in my network use laptops and don't have the space to make a local copy of my collection.
I know how to distribute my database, but I ain't sure as to how much good it would do when they do not have the tracks stored localy exactly as I do....

Any good ideas on the subject?

Why not use MC's Library server ?

Good question. I asked my self the same thing 4 minutes ago.

I might just be a little afraid it would take up more of my time administring.

What the hell. I'll give it a go. Just hope my disks don't get in trouble
