Hello,
I'm starting to look at the Ipod Nano or Ipod 30g Video... And I have a couple of questions:
- Can I plug the Ipod and import an MP3 album from it to MC?
- Can I easly export the contents of a smarlist to the Ipod?
and I have my cover art files inside the albums folder as a "cover.jpg" file.
- Will MC convert on the fly an .APE album to MP3 and move the album and its cover on the iPod?
Sorry if these are simple questions, but it's my first time playing with portable devices and MC.
Thanks for your time.

MC will transfer your files and playlists to any iPod. It can convert from APE to MP3 on the fly. Cover art is supported on iPods that support cover art.
Just plug in the iPod with MC running. After about 10 seconds it will show up and ask you what you want to do.

Thanks for the reply Jim.
I'm also really curious to know if I can move files from the Ipod to Media Center...
Take care.

yes but if they're protected - .m4p from iTunes - then you have to "authorize" the computer running MC using iTunes before they will play

I donīt understand...

Hello,
I finally got an Ipod Video and everything works great with MC. Transfert from and to the Ipod and cover art!
Thanks again for the great software.
Now, if we could only get one common lossless format ;)
Any chance MC could covert to Apple Lossless until Monkey Audio is supported on the Ipod?
