May be wrong but i think you said once you have a DVD burner.
Can you put mp3 on a DVD disc?
If yes, where can you play them? Computer of cause ,but in a salon DVD desk as well?
Do the DVD desk needs to have a mp3 reading fonction?
As a back up,can you put APE on a DVD disc?
Or none of this is possible?
If yes i may buy the Sony all standarts DVD burner to be out next month
Listening to: 'Kshe Hikiti Lach Al Hasafsal' from 'Od Me'at' by 'Ehud Banay' on Media Jukebox

Your Right, You Are Wrong.
Next Computer (I think In Jan-Feb) maybe
At any rate is J river Compatable is the question.
I want to burn 4.5|PLS| gigs of MP3's also on one disk
and i think you can burn data to it maybe not with MJ (Yet)

Not to be able to burn with MJ not that much a problem
But MJ needs to be able to read and play this kind of data dvd-cd
Like it 'old 7.2 licence' like me would send them again some $$$$$$$$$

I think burning software comes with them.
I was looking at one in best buy the other day around $250-$299 that is 1\2 the price it was last year this time.

I have three DVD burners (HP DVD100i ,Pioneer DVR-104 and an original Pioneer S-201) You can burn thousands of MP3's to the DVD but nothing except a PC will play them back (yet). I have an Apex 1500 and an Audiovox portable. Both will play DVD|PLS|RW and DVD-R as well as MP3 CD's but they both fail to recognize a DVD with MP3 files on them.
I backup my collection to DVD-R bring them to the office to play on my PC.
I searched Google and all posts indicate that this is because there is no file system standard defined yet for a DVD-MP3 and therefore no maker has created a bios to support playback.
PS: MJ has all sorts of trouble reading CD's on my HP DVD100i even though it see's it as a DVD100j which is in the supported list of drives.

I should have reworded that remark as it was intented as a rip (pun intended) on the HP product and not MJ. HP sold it under the pretext that the bios could be upgraded to support DVD|PLS|R and after I bought it they decided that owners would have to spend another $99 to swap out the drive.

I'm Still wondering if that is a good thing
Good: Beer
Bad: Water
Ugly: CoolAid

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Wasn't that a movie? Dean Martin, Clint Eastwood, and Alec Guiness?

MJ works just fine for this. It adds an entry in the library based on the Disc ID like this:
(0x8EB24D12):\5th Dimension - CD3\5th Dimension - Up, Up, And Away.mp3
In MJ it works the same as an MP3-CD. If the disc is not available it prompts you to insert it in the drive.
