Title: Group artists by first letter?

Is it possible to output files onto a device where the directory structure is grouped by the first letter of the artist's name? Another media player I've been using has allowed me to do something this this on my player:

-ABC
--all artists a-c
-DEF
--all artists d-f

Is there a way to do this, or something similar, in MC?
