Title: Registration fails after update

I just downloaded the newest version of Media Center 11 (as suggested by the pop-up telling me a new version was available), now I cannot get the program to start.  Every time I start it, I get the error telling me that the program must be registered using an account with at least power user priveleges.

I tried using an administrator account, I tried creating an account which was part of the power users group.  Nothing works, and needless to say I find this very frustrating.

I am using a Win2K Pro machine.

Any help would be most appreciated.

This means some component is failing to be created, often because it wasn't registered properly.

What does the error list after "Unactivated Component: "?
