hello
is there a setting i can change so that DVD playback always starts from the beginning? at the moment i get a brief opening sequence and then the DVD skips to the last scene i have watched, when i would like it to run through the normal start up sequence, menus, etc.
thanks

If you right-click on a DVD, you can choose "DVD Menu" to see the menu.

i am aware of the right click/dvd menu possibilities. my point was about what happens when you select a folder with dvd material on the hard drive, and simply click on 'play'. at the moment if i have part watched a film MC will automatically go to the point in the film where i stopped watching, rather than starting from the beginning sequence of the DVD. usually on DVD players there is an option to start from the beginning or to resume at the point you left off, and i was wondering if MC had a similar feature
thanks

I was playing around with WinDVD and see that if you press Stop, a note appears on the display, "Playbak will resume from this point"

This is much more logical.
