Title: aac files make media center 'hang'

I have noticed that when playing back aac files, MC sometimes hangs. (it keeps playing the current song but the screen is no longer refreshed)
This was mostly fixed for me as soon as directshow support was added, but now the problem has reappeared. I'm using ffdshow as playback filter. Does anybody have a solution for this?

btw, please add m4a tag writing support :)

apparantly I experience hangs with mp3 files also. Both my pc and media center were completely reinstalled a month ago, what could be the problem? (other audio apps work fine)
