Title: Disable TV-Card?
Post by: bebbetufs on June 12, 2006, 01:34:36 am
I have a problem related to MC that is a bit annoying.
Since my digital TV card is not supported in by MC I'm using MyTheatre for watching TV.
I use MC for audio and it is set to autoload when windows starts. When I start MyTheatre it seems like the graph is already taken by MC so I get no sound or picture in MT.

Is there a way to disable TV-support or do some kind of tweaking to make sure the graph remains free untill acually needed by MC?

Media Center does not load anything related to TV unless you select TV under Drives and Devices.

I already selected it before I realised that the card was not supported.

I will try to reset it!

I'm positive that MC is influencing MyTheatre, because the latter does not work as long as MC is loaded.

When you auto load MC, what view/state do you put it in? As long as MC is not in TV view, it would not load anything related to TV.

To reset TV, delete the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JRiver\Media Center 11\TV Settings
