Title: Registration problem Media Center 11

I upgraded to the MC11 trial May25 and registered from my mjr file on May31. Today when I started MC11, I got a message that said my trail period was done to 12days. When I tried to reload the mjr file it had expired.
I know I can reregister from the web, but:
1) I don't know how I "unregistered". I'd like to understand why it happen and what could cause it again.
2) I can register only 9-10 times per year. I have enough system crashes that require XP reinstall that this could become a problem

you may have other issues if you need to reinstall Windows XP all the time

I can restore, but.........
I don't know why the previous registration didn't "take"
If it happens again, this goes on indefinitely.
Any hunches on why this happened includuing erroa I may have made when I thought I registered?
