Title: Feature request: Replay Gain for video files
Post by: Johnny B on June 19, 2006, 10:41:50 am
Obviously MC cannot proceed "Analyze audio" for video files - now. But why? I mean it would be very handy if MC could. A playlist consisting of audio files AND video files could be created and if all files were analyzed, with help of Replay Gain the playback would be at the same loudness level.
I suppose it should not be so difficult to implement this in MC - or am I wrong?

Is this idea really so silly?

I agree! I collect various TV series get them from various sources. As such, the recordings have widely varying audio levels. It is really annoying to have to adjust the TV volume between each episode.
