Title: How do I post images to this forum?

How can I insert images in my posts? Do I have to find a storage provider? Can you suggest me a good free one?

Yep, you do need the files to exist somewhere on the web.  I use my Geocities web page (http://www.geocities.com) which is free from Yahoo if you have an account with them.

I don't know much about any of the image hosting services out there.

Anyhow, then you just type the http:// address, select it, and click the "IMG" button in the BBC tags choices in the post editor (or just surround the image's address with "img" tags)

Another free site for image storage is http://www.villagephotos.com/

They have excellent tools for uploading and posting images.
