Title: Bad sound on playback during ripping process
Post by: najarip on July 02, 2006, 04:13:29 am
Hi, I am using MC 11.1.186 and I since that version it seems playback is corrupted when I am ripping songs at the same time. The sounds is with intermittent gaps and squeeky.

When I am not ripipng songs, everything is fine.

Any idea what this could be? I see no indication that this is solved in the 187/188?

Thanks,

Ronald

I cannot reproduce this problem. As far as I know, nothing that could make a difference has changed in MC recently. What was your previous MC version before 11.1.186?

Maybe something else has changed. Have you installed any new hardware or software?

Please, describe your exact procedure. (e.g. ripping options, encoding settings, playback settings, file format and location of the played files, etc)

Also, post your System Info from the MC Help menu.

In general, things that you could check are the playback buffer amount and drive configuration (all HDs and optical drives should use DMA).

Try restarting your computer.
