Title: "Tasks-> Build Thumbnails" question

If everythings already been imported at somepoint,
but thumbnails have not been built,
does this build them in the background,
or is it only for files that are being imported?

It builds all missing thumbnails.

In that case, is MC fighting against itself if you then tell it to build thumbnails
with this option turned on?

Should the build thumbnails function be disabled/disallowed when the
Task->Build Thumbnails is enabled?

I'm missing something.  I thought you were talking about the option under Tree and View, called "Build Missing Thumbnails."

Tools Options-> Library-> Watch Folders-> Tasks-> Build Thumbnails.

I think this forces MC to build the thumbs that it imports right away... Otherwise it will only build them when they those tracks are being viewed.
