Title: Listening to premium streams from di.fm

Hello,

I am trying to listen to the premium streams at di.fm through JRiver Mediacenter.  But I am unable to listen to it.  I have tried the following options but neither works.
I am using build 186.

- Save the *.m3u file and open it in JRiver
- Open the file in notepad and further get the exact url(eg : http://user@abc122:209.11.11.11:80 or 8080

Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated.

It seems that the premium ($$$) streams require authentication. Credentials are given in the URL http://user@abc122:209.11.11.11:80 (not so safe, it can be easily sniffed). Probably this authentication scheme involves (I hope) something more sophisticated than just passing username and password in the URL. Maybe Media Center does not (still) support this authentication scheme. I am not into that business, so this is just a guess.

They use the so called "basic authentication" method. So it seems that Media Center does not support it (yet).
