Title: Playing Now plug-in & last.fm
Post by: glassworks on July 23, 2006, 11:10:48 pm
Does the Playing Now plug-in still have support for last.fm/audioscrobbler?  Judging from posts back in February it did, but either that's not the case anymore, or I'm just clueless.  Thanks in advance for any & all assistance.

for last.fm support, you'll need the current release, (v1.3.0.9) (http://www.jdnet.co.uk/PlayingNow/pn.zip).

after installation, use the "edit main configuration" link placed in your "start menu>all programs" list to open the playingnow.ini file.

at the top, in the 'General' section, change : EnableAudioScrobbler=False to EnableAudioScrobbler=true

then go to the end of the file and fill out the appropriate details in the audioscrobbler section.
remember to save the file, start MC and off you go.
enjoy.

Does anyone know if PN will report songs played from a hardware client connected to MC's UPNP server?   Or songs played on ipod?
I'm guessing not.

I know it doesn't do ipods.

I don't know about Upnp servers.
