When I sync a playlist with my Sansa e270, the songs get transferred but the playlist doesn't show up. Anyone else seen this problem?

I have the same issue. I think they are copied (if you check the playlists folder) but the Sansa doesn't see them. Remember to use a folder other than the default Music folder (such as Audio) or MC will not sync right b/c the folder is hidden upon disconnect.

We are hoping that future firmware will eventually address some of the problems we are seeing with the e200 series in MSC mode. For now, we suggest using the device in MTP mode.
To change the USB mode on the device, go to Settings > USB Mode and select MTP.

I am working in MTP mode... I didn't change the default folder.

If you browse the device with Explorer, can you find the playlist file? Where is it? What's the file extension?
What are the playlist settings in handheld options set to?

I'm experiencing a similar problem, though with my E240. If I browse to the "Playlists" folder, I can see the files under \Media\Playlists. However, the files are all zero length, and within explorer they don't contain a file extension.
In my case, the Playlist options are set to "Sync mode -- playlist (select below)". I have about 6 playlists.
What's interesting is , from within the E240, if you browse over to the Playlist, nothing actually shows up (blank fields), but I noticed it was letting me scroll up/down along the blank list. Actually selecting one of these entries does indeed bring up the correct playlist files. However, it would be nice to actually be able to see what I'm selecting :)
I'm running MC 11.1.191.
Hope this helps. If you need any additional info, please let me know.
Thanks.

Strange, I've never faced this issue. I've recently bought Sansa on http://go.shopsansa.com/ and have no problems with it.
