Title: Can you run MC 11 on a Mac? (with emulation)
Post by: Listener on July 30, 2006, 04:11:05 pm
I'm at the point of buying a desktop PC to serve as a Terabyte music server running MC 11.  I'm running MC 11 on a laptop now but I need to move to a system with more memory and fewer constraints (Laptop related stuff mostly.)  I haven't had a Mac since the 80s but it seems an option I should consider.

Has anyone tried running MC 11 on a MAC with emulation?  This should be faster and more trouble free on an Intel Mac but that's theory.  I'd like to hear about real experience.

Check this thread:

(Not being mean, but try searching next time.  That topic isn't that old.)

I used to search diligently through old messages before asking a question on this forum.  I didn't find the effort worthwhile in most cases.  I would get a long list of search results for threads announcing the latest version of MC 11.  Plowing through the messages in these threads was a useless exercise.

I was on vacation when the earlier thread came through so I missed it.  The question was on my list before I went on vacation so I asked it after I returned.

Thanks for the link to the earlier thread.   I'm posting some questions there for sapnho.

No problem.  As I said, I wasn't being mean... It just happened that if you searched for "mac", the thread I listed was the second hit.  No biggie...  ;D
