YAYYYY! Finally I can return to MC after a layoff of a year or so, because you now support my 60GB colour iPod (and therefore - cover-art).
Bad iTunes - GOODBYE!
Therefore, I'd like to set up a smartlist for my music which does have cover-art on the drive (in the album folder, for the record) - and ignore that which doesn't.
Is this possible? How would I do it?
Thanks, in advance,
Lewis

Simple as that. Thankyou Alex.

How exactly are you getting album art synced to your iPod? I really want to sync cover art to my Sandisk Sansa mp3 player but no one seems to know how--and it might be impossible.
I still wonder if I could setup a playlist which would automatically pull in the album art for each song and then sync as a picture but place in the music directory.
In other words, playlist 1 would have Song1.flac
It would check for Folder.jpg in the same folder & automatically add the jpg to the smart playlist.
Then setup the image syncing as the music is setup Audio/Artist/Album ....
But the jpg's would have to be tagged on the fly with artist/album information and they really need to be downsized from 1200x1200 to maybe 200x200 for my Sansa.

Are you sure the Sansa supports cover art? I checked the Sandisk site, and it doesn't look like they do.

It does very well. When I copy an image to the folder for the Album, it shows up very small and if I push the center button, it turns to full screen after cycling through. I really would like to get this working since it seems to easy on the outside--the image merely has to be in the correct folder!

If the track has cover art attached, it just works with the iPod - don't have to do anything special. The only issue is that MC doesn't see adding cover-art or changing cover-art as a 'change' to the file for portable sync purposes. If the file is already on the device, just adding or changing the cover-art won't cause it to re-send the file.

That's nice to know it works with the iPod. MC will probably have this feature added in the future, but I just figured out a temporary work around for those interested--and I love this workaround.
