Title: Exclude a specific folder from search?

How does one mark one folder in their computer so as not to be searched by Media Center?

I have an external hard drive that contains backup files, so I see two sometimes three versions of the same photo/video.  The external drive contains some originals, so I want to be able to search that but not the one or two specific folders that contian the backups.  Is there any way to take that one folder out of the search without manually adding all the other ones individually?

On the import dialog, pick "Browse > Exclude..." and choose the folder to exclude.
