I have tried to upgrade my Windows Media Player version from 9 to 10 twice in the past. The problem is I can no longer encode to WMA lossless with Media Center after doing so. Each time I end end having to "roll-back" my WMP to version 9. I can't seem to find any related forum threads on this. The last time I tried this was probably 3-6 months ago and I was using the latest version of MC at that time. Can anybody help? Thanks!

Make sure you have the latest MC 11 from the top of this board.

Are you saying you are familiar with this problem and that it has been fixed in a more recent version of MC? Thanks.

Microsoft breaks backwards compatibility of their encoder profiles with each version of WMP. I consider this a bug in their encoder SDK.
As far as I know, the latest MC 11.1 works with the latest WMP. You can download the latest MC 11.1 at the top of this board.
