Title: Detached Display Won't play DVDs

I'm running mc 12.0.053 on a laptop with an ATI card with 128 MB native + 128 shared.  I can get images to show fine on detached display on my second monitor, but when I try to play video all I get is a black detached display + audio.  Is it my card?  Is it me? Or can anyone else reproduce this?

Try starting playback on the same monitor.

DirectX doesn't always nicely handle monitor switches.  I'm not sure if it's filter specific or security specific.
