iPods are the best bet for AAC fans, but they are also supported by most cellphones and all Palm OS 5 PDAs with third party software.

Are they iTunes files?  If so then the DRM used will restrict your device choice.  AFAIK, iTunes DRMed music will only play on iPods or other Apple supported devices (a few cell phones).

If not, why are you using AAC if your intent is portability?  MP3 is a better choice for that (as of right now).
