Title: Blank screen playing AVI files

I am a new user just trialing the product. After I import some video files and attempt to play them back, the audio track starts to play, but the screen is blank. The video's play fine in Windows Media Player. I am running Media Center 11.1.188.

I have the same problem but my copy is registrered. Is someone gonna answer??

Try changing the playback options.  I believe you can tell MC11.1 to use WMP to play video.

If you have 11.1 and bought it after about September of last year, the license is valid for MC12.  Have the system send you a license to be certain.  If it's an MC12 license, it will work.
