Title: Lyrics Editor saving
Post by: dcwebman on August 12, 2006, 08:29:10 am
Doof, I came across an improvement that could be made in your plug-in. Remember when you used to have a button for just saving? I found a place I could use it. I had put only one file in Playing Now and then went to Lyrics Editor to edit it. After editing it, I couldn't save it. Switching to Playing Now or other areas in MC didn't save it. The only way I found to actually found to save it was to exit MC. It might be handy to have that Just Save button back again.
Thanks,
Jeff

It'll also save changes if you choose a different playlist or hit the Refresh button.

Thanks for the tip on the Refresh button - that's easier.

I had a weird thing over the weekend with the Refresh button. I had dragged some files to the Playing Now list from Windows Explorer that had not been imported yet. I was going to check the playing of them before I imported and out of habit went to Lyrics Editor to add the lyrics. Hitting Refresh never brought them up and I couldn't figure out why until I imported them. Probably by design but it confused me for awhile.

Not my design!

I think MC only gives me access to files in the library. I can take a look at it and see if that appears to be the case.

Ah - ** I've just posted the exact same problem in another message

Just for info - KingSpartas lyric finder DID work with those files without a problem
They didn't need to be imported - maybe you could swap info on how you two do it and keep the best result ?

They're saved wherever you have MC configured to save them.
