Title: Video Thumbnails in MC 12 ONLY?
Post by: benn600 on August 13, 2006, 12:36:37 am
Before the MC 12 board was closed to me, I saw a thread discussing the thumbnail capabilities for movies and it looked pretty simple for a user to add personal thumbnails to video files just as I do for audio.  For audio, all I have to do is put Folder.jpg in the folder for each item with that cover.

I've tried the same for video but it always reads a thumbnail from the video.  This is a great substitute for those not interested in scanning in their cover art--but I want personal thumbnails.

It seems like if I had a folder for each item and put items in there w/ Folder.jpg, it should pick it up with a Quick Find.  Even after removing the thumbnail, it doesn't find it.  I can manually add it, but I'd have to do it for every single video file times 4 user databases--it would be quite a hassle.  I like how it just finds the Cd cover art--I don't mind following a naming convention, but what is the video naming convention?!
