Title: Error 31

I downloaded and installed this version.  However, it keeps crashing on me.  And is says "error#31.  An essential component is corrupted or missing."  I have already tried uninstalling and installing it again.  Is anybody else getting this error?  Please let me know.  I really like this software but I don't want to purchase it if it will continue crashing.  Thanks

Try reinstalling your license.

i don't have a license yet.  i was using the trial version.  it works for a few minutes then i get the error.  what does error 31 mean?

Hi,

I don’t know if I should post here or start a new thread but this seems similar.
I’m getting “critical error #30”. I’m also using the 30 day trial of MC11. I do have a license for MC10 though. I’ve uninstalled but to no avail.
Any ideas?

i checked the fourm and most of the people get this error due to a virus.  however, i did a virus scan and i have no virus.
