Title: Purchasing MC without Credit Card?

a minute ago i wanted to buy your wonderful software but i've noted it's only possible if you have a credit card but i don't own a credit card (credit cards aren't common in germany or europe at all). I'd recommend, because it's the easiest was for everyone too, to enable direct paypal wires in your paypal settings.
Another solution would be an additional moneybookers (http://www.moneybookers.com) account, moneybookers provides free and save money wires too and it got a wide range of possibilities for customer to move money from their bank accounts to moneybookers but take a look at the moneybookers page.

I think it was more of a Spam ad than a real request (not sure)

since the last post they made was in dec 2005 when they were using MC11.0.xxx

You also might try emailing Paypal support. Perhaps there is something on their end blocking the transaction that they can fix?

That's why i'm here, else i forgot about MC already ;)

From what i know it's just a setting in paypal: Profile -> Payment Receiving Preferences -> Block payments from users who: [untick] Bank transfer for all website payments except eBay. eCheck for PayPal website and Smart Logo payments.

You can download the software which gives you 30 days use on a trial basis before you need the license.

I believe this comment to be true

I did setup an ghost account 6 months ago to see if i could use pay-pal with money sent from my main account to my ghost account.

I had $30 in my account and went to buy something and Pay-pal would not let me, so i just transfered the money back into my main account.

Will J River take a check? This is probably easier than getting a credit card for a single transaction.

Our system is not set up to handle e-checks. Getting a credit card is the best approach, or finding a friend to purchase it for you with their credit card.
