Hi all. Subject line pretty much says it all. I've done this twice with the same results: Restore the Video iPod using iPod Updater to version 1.1.2. Then sync it using MC (~1300 songs converted from .ape - takes a LONG time). All is fine. Then add just a couple of songs and videos using iTunes version 6.0.5.20 running on a different PC. All is still fine. The next time I sync using MC everything appears fine until I eject the iPod, after which ALL the files are gone! The darn thing is completely empty. ? >:(
Any ideas? ...

Tried v194 last night. Seems to have fixed this, but is flaky. The first time I tried syncing the iPod MC froze up. (One of the few times I've ever seen it actually stop responding - generally MC is pretty hardy in that respect.) Then, on a later attempt, I cancelled the sync part-way through and MC would not update the iPod status window - the software didn't freeze but the iPod interface did. I used XP's "safely remove hardware" option to unmount the iPod and everything seemed fine. But there are issues here.
