If this has already been answered, please direct me to the thread.
I have MC11.1 w/MS Library running on my server.
On my desktop, I start MC11.1
MC11.1 finds the server and dl's the database.
Playing music on my desktop is no problem.
The problem comes with transferring audio files to my iPod.
When I try transferring files I get the following error: None of the tracks can be transferred. Common errors include insuffient rights or unsupported file types.
-> the file types are .mp3 and I have God rights on all machines on my network <-
Now, If I don't use the Media Server but instead create a local database using the import function, I can transer any .mp3 file to my ipod.
The problem of transferring files to my ipod only occurs when I use the Media Server database.
I don't know what other "rights" to give myself!
Any ideas?
Thanks,
jj

Hi there,
Http files (like Library Server files) aren't supported for handhelds.
We'll consider this for version 12.
Thanks.

Matt:
Thanks for your reply. For listening, I will continue using the server and when I want to load my iPod I'll just reimport to my local database.
Thank you,
jj
