Title: Burning MP3's to CD from playlist
Post by: PhaseDance on June 10, 2003, 12:21:20 pm
I have a Dell GX240 with a HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8160B CD-Rom drive. I am having no luck burning MP3's to CD from a playlist. The files seem to populate the CD under the "CD, DVD, & Handhelds" window, and the burn seems to run successfully, but the CD is not recognized either by MJ or Windows Explorer. I have changed the settings, checking and unchecking the "Use generic driver" and "Use internal ASPI layer" boxes. ASPI is installed correctly. Auto-Run is disabled. "Test mode" is unchecked. I'm out of ideas. Got any?

This may or may not be a good answer, but if you've tried all the things in the FAQ, then MC 9 (instead of MJ8) is probably your best bet.

It has a new and improved burning engine.
