Title: Remove Windows Media Player context menus
Post by: joshhuggins on August 31, 2006, 06:27:41 pm
For those of you like me who are insulted that Windows Media Player thinks it could even come close to managing my media, here is this little tweak to remove all those pesky context menu entries when you right click on media files, leaving the heavy lifting to pros, JR Media Center.

Start, Run, regsvr32 /u wmpshell.dll

Voila!

JRiver ought to make that an option in MC's installer. ;)

Along with the annoying 'Play On My TV' Nvidia context entries  ;D

Soooooo sick of having to regedit them away every time the drivers get updated...
