when using MC as media server client, the current playing track info shows 'live/live' instead of time in track/total track time and the slider doesn't work anymore.
this has been for a while now.

What kind of files? I use mp3s (VBR encodes using MC with the "preset standard" setting), and I'm not seeing this -- i.e. I get the correct time readouts, and the slider is working fine.

I installed 197 on two machines so far and each time install finishes, I see the MC 11 startup logo come up and then nothing. Looking in the processes, it's not there so I have to start MC 11 again. Has anybody else seen this?

Not here. I just tried it. It works. Try waiting longer. Try downloading again.

mp3 files (of various types)
when I press play, I see the correct time for 0.5 seconds, then it gets replaced with 'live/live'
see picture of server MC (via ultravnc) and client MC

That's really strange. Were the mp3s encoded in MC? All I can say is that this is not an issue on my system -- the time readouts are correct for the ALL the time displays -- i.e. total, current, and remaining times, all of which I have displayed.

no...
this was working fine in older builds (same mp3 files)...
could this be related to the IE7 problems that were fixed in a recent build ? (I use the latest IE7 RC1)
