Post by: bytestar on September 14, 2006, 06:09:26 pm
When is this Bug repaired?
If I somewhere in Media Center on Browse Folder click crasht Media center.
I can confirm this error with no other program only with MC.

I thought a new thread for this might be best.  Do you have any other Vista-specific issues you've seen?

We'll take a look, but keep in mind that Vista is still pre-release. (i.e. the pink drag-n-drop bug that turned out to be a Microsoft issue)

Also, are you running a 32 or 64 bit version?

Thanks.

I'll confirm the report. When I try to browse for a folder to add to the library, MC exits with an error.

This is on any build since RC1 build 5600, 32 bit.

It works fine on Beta 2 (64 bit).  Sigh.

We'll do some RC 1 testing when possible.

It also looks like our skinning engine is getting clobbered in your screenshot.  Again, skinning worked fine in Beta 2.

Never fear... There'll be a Beta 4 oops, I mean RC2 (aren't Release Candidates supposed to be feature complete and mostly bug free?) that will break something else.   ;)   ;D
