Title: Why CD rips named "[Track ##] - Filename.ogg"?
Post by: Apesbrain on September 17, 2006, 03:42:09 pm
All the tracks came out [Track ##] instead of the actual track numbers, e.g.

[Track ##] - Human Touch.ogg

should be

01 - Human Touch.ogg

What do I change to fix this?

Thanks.

I think your rule should be "[Track #]" not "[Track ##]"

Both [Track ##] - [Name] and [Track #] - [Name] are listed in the presets in Tools > Options > File Locations.  I'd think they should both work.  The diference is whether the filename is padded with leading zeros.

Example:
[Track ##] - [Name]
01 - Filename.ogg

[Track #] - [Name]
1 - Filename.ogg

Using MC 11.1.198 on WinXP Pro SP-2.  Thanks.

Not in mine

the help file also does not have [Track ##]

and i have never seen this rule padded in the 7-8 years of using MJ Or MC

You are absolutely right.  Works fine now after taking your suggestion.  Sorry for being an idiot, but it's not the first time today.

It didn't "Get cover art from internet after ripping", however.  Should have been in same folder, "Next to file (Folder.jpg)".

Suggestions welcome, thanks.
