Hello all,

I am currently a user of Snapstream Beyond media for their DVD library plugin.

Interesting plugin, nothing as DVD specific exists as yet. Though you can come close with

There is a lot of additional info in those views, is that downloadable or was it user entered ?

it is all downloaded automatically from IMDB.com

It is a very useful plugin, esp for those who backup their DVDs to a server or NAS.

Nothing similar with MC huh? o well.

That looks pretty sweet. Does it actually write tags to the files or does it have to read from the site each time?

It writes the tags to the files, one time thing.

After you add a dvd to the server you tell it to update and that is it. It goes by the file name which is always the DVD name unless the user changes it, but it works great and I love it. That is why it is hard for me to change over to MC for that solo reason. I have however found a plugin from them that integrates MC. So maybe I will get MC and the plugin from snapstream and use that.

I just like that MC has the multizone setup as well as the Russound CAV plugin for my whole house audio.
