Napster is evaluating the possibility of a sale by hiring of an investment bank. Citing "recent third party interest," the company has asked UBS Investment Bank to explore strategic partnerships or an outright sale of the company.

I wouldn't... Unless you're aching to take some punishment.   ;)

Don't most of the online distributors just use Musicnet? only one that i know of that doesn't is I believe Rhapsody. Which used to own Musicnet I do believe.  I dunno been a few days since I read the article. It does seem there's too many players in the market.    I use yahoo unlimited and Urge myself. both musicnet providers.  started with yahoo, switched to Urge.  Urge has a much better interface thru WMP 11 beta.  I'm keeping yahoo now just for the radio. I like the personalized radio yahoo has.
