The back key/backspace/ alt-left bug is still present as described here:
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=35392.0
Will this problem be resolved in MC12?
-
Is the YADB track info database still offline? I just tried it with a track that I submitted a few months ago. It seems to be broken in both directions. MC couldn't submit or download info.
-
My new 80 gb ipod is not supported yet. Will there be an update soon?
-
Is that a new video iPod?
Can you give us the information from the message MC gives you telling you it can't identify your iPod (there should be 2 numbers, 1452 and ?)?
-
I have a 4th gen iPod, and the ratings are not syncing correctly with 11.1.200. Instead of brining iPod rating changes back to MC, MC simply re-uploads the song with the changed rating.
Any advice?

Similar to the problem posted here: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=33247.msg228045#msg228045
When I use this rule in a Viewscheme:
(([Artist Rating]=0 [Rating]=0-5) or ([Artist Rating]=1 ([Rating]=0 or [Rating]=3-5)) or ([Artist Rating]=2-5 [Rating]=0-5))
files with no rating show up in the file-list, but in the Rating pane there is no '0'; only 1 through 5
Can anyone give me a workaround, assuming it's still a bug?

pmax,
Are you sure you have "Get play stats from handheld on connect" ticked?

Analyze audio>7 files queued that never analyze>tried to analyze them anyway>quit analyze>MC using 99% CPU even after closed. Possible lockup with non-RG Gain firendly files? I think these are small intro files to audiobooks possibly having no audio in them at all.

iPod album art still does not work in this version. I have an old 5th Gen 30GB iPod with the latest firmware. I don't get scrambled artwork, just no artwork at all.
-
Ah, that did the trick.
Many thanks.

I had this problem with some sound effect MP3's awhile ago (can't find the post now) since they were short length. It would say they were done analyzing but if you did it again, the same ones would be listed again. I was told to just specify a value in Replay Gain, Peak Level, BPM, or Intensity.

MC v.200 works with my 80GB Ipod.
-
"Customize Current View" is broken in this release. The "apply" and "OK" buttons both seem to cancel any changes that I've tried to make. So there sooms to be no way to change the sorting or the columns.

Hmm, today I can no longer reproduce that bug. I can't figure out what triggered it. If I do, I'll let you know...

11.1.200 (9/21/2006)
1. Fixed: Windows Server 2003 could report a Windows Media error during installation.
I think, it is not fixed. I've got Windows Media Format error during installation on Windows Server 2003 x64 ("Cannot install Windows Media Format on unsupported operation system..").
-
I got the same error on 2003 Server R2 32 bit version.
What is the status of this?
-
Ipod using Firewire resulting in "Your iPod could not be properly identified. Please check for an updated version of Media Center." iPod Type: E435, 0, 0".
USB works fine however.
-
I get the same error as previous poster and have same type iPOD.
Firewire connection, get "cannot ID iPOD type"
iPOD type E435,0,0.
I got this error on the previous build too which I think was 199 since MC was crashing with the iPOD connected - saw this bug in the changelog.
I hadn't plugged in my iPOD for quite a while and when I did I got this error and then updated to 200 and still get it.
I went back to 11.1.191 and my iPOD is working again and no crashes.

My iPod Photo 60 GB (model 9586, serial r5r) causes MC to crash during detection when MC first loads. I just upgraded from 11.1.186 but I'm going back to it until the problem is fixed. I'm not using the latest Apple firmware (About says 1.2.1) and I'm using Windows98SE. Thanks.

If you were having trouble with your iPod please try the new build (11.1.201).
Thanks,
Rick
