Title: playing a radio station from url

Maybe you’ve heard of the Californian base rock station KROQ, maybe you haven’t but anyway I know its URL is:

http://bdcast-infinity-kroq-fm.wm.llnwd.net/bdcast_infinity_kroq-fm

Trust me, you can open it in wmp and it plays no problem.

Thing is when I use the open URL option in the file menu in Media Centre it fails. On further inspection media centre seems to have added "/~~~stream~~~.mp3" on the end of the URL making it:

http://bdcast-infinity-kroq-fm.wm.llnwd.net/bdcast_infinity_kroq-fm/~~~stream~~~.mp3.

But that’s just not its URL and it’s not a streaming mp3 format either.

I tried adding it to the online list of radio stations so I could pick its format and it worked from my favourites but after a few days it disappeared from my favourites and now I cant add it cos its already been added although its not in the list!?

It’s just infuriating…….. Any ideas?
