New to MJ (love it) and new to this forume:
I have tried all suggested methods to retrieve cover art for both .ape and .mp3 files in my trial version of MJ- no luck. The only CD that has the artwork was imported after being ripped by another program. I have checked off the option in the Ripping editor and also tried to download via File Properties/Image- it goes through the motions but no luck. Any suggestions?

Getting Art In Media Center Has Been Improved A Few Times Since MJ8 Was Released.

I am in the process of importing my CD's, a lot of Jazz (Monk, Bill EVans, Coltrane, etc) and it has not yet come back with one cover...so I imagine I must be doing something wrong though I obviously cannot figure it out. It won't even find newer music like Sade Love Deluxe, Springsteen Born in the USA... After ripping the CD (using Monkey's Audio encoder usually- for my better hybrid SACD's) it says it is getting the cover art but comes back empty-handed. ANY suggestions at all?

You'll need to upgrade to Media Center to get any improvement.

JimH- Somehow I thought that might be the answer. Thanks.
I had figured to upgrade later but it may be sooner as I am also having to add genre & year tags to my ripped ape files when using MJ8. I do love the pgm tho- is the music/audio portion of MC essentially the same as MJ8, maybe on a bit of steroids?
