Title: backup mc under win xp pro and restore to win 98

can you backup mc11.1 under xp pro and restore it to win 98.?
I have a machine that is not strong enough to run xp pro and runs 98 fine.  wanted to use it (laptop) to play thru my stereo system.

Should be no problem.  Just use the library backup feature in MC.

thanks for your comments.  I have a laptop that I want to use to play thru my home stereo.  Which is the best version to use on win 98?  I have 8.0 level 400 as well as 9.1 level 319.  I also own 11.1 and have 12 in beta.  My laptop is running win 98 and will not support xp pro.  which are my best options.  all i am looking for is ability to select and play music thru my stereo system.
