Ok, you tell me I have to upgrade to MC 1.1 to play Flac.
So I did download a trial version.
But he will not play it, nor does he import it in his media library.
He keeps on waiting.
I am very dissappointed !!
Don't tell me that Inflac 2 only works with the beta
-
By the way.
Before importing the IN Flac, he simply opened in Media Player Classic
-
you tell me
Who?
MC 1.1
No Such Monster
Flac Is a 3rd Party Plug-in And Is Not Supported By JRiver.

For MC11.1 the correct decoder version is In_FLAC 1.6.7. and the correct encoder version is Enc_FLAC 1.6.1.
The plugin versions are explained here: http://mcplugins.sourceforge.net/

InFLAC 2.0 is for MC12. INFlac v1 is for MC 11. Both are otherwise the same. You can download v1 from Scthom's web site at: http://mcplugins.sourceforge.net/

Ok Glynor,
I do not understand, but I will download the older version and see if it works.
But besides that he is behaving very stange. I selected import and then I can find it in recently imported.
But the next time it is gone.
Next time I'll insert a screendump showing that in Playing now he nows the artist whereas in by date he does not.

This is what I see in playing now:

And here you can see that he does not recognise the artist.

What do I do wrong
-
I think you need to:
1. remove (delete from media library) the files you imported when you had the wrong plugin version
2. reimport (with having the correct plugin version installed).

That is exactly what I did.
I am used to MJB who does it all by himself.
By the way can I download version 12 and try it.

And what is wrong with MC 11
I have to select "start" three times before The SimpleMan can accept that I have a internet connection. Before that he stubornly states that there is no internet connection.
MJB never behaved that way and by the way won't start after installing MC 11
