Title: scheme "disk location" missing folders
Post by: KeystoneCop on October 04, 2006, 08:09:20 pm
First........Again and Again, thanks for putting up with my questions. My old terminology and lack of writing skills doesn't help much.

the view scheme "disk location" (in Audio)  is not showing some of the folders. the files do show up when I just go to AUDIO

here is how I got to this..(i think) not often butt sometimes

I deleted the folders from MC.. then deleted the entire library to start over.

now the files are present, but not in the disk loaction view.

Not sure about the missing files. Is the disk location view scheme starting from the root?
Right click the view scheme, click edit. In the "Step 1" box, does it appear as "Location (Root)" ?

Is there a way to compare tags?
like [band]=[album] , or [artist]=[album] ,etc.?

[=isequal([band],[album])]=1

or

[=isequal([artist],[album])]=1

I still cannot get the original folder back, but everything seems to work fine.

I think I had the remember ignore previosly removed checked when i did it.

It was a top level folder. (was called   "More Music") a keyword?

if I rename the folder it will mess up all of my backups.  I tried deleting everything from the library and rebuilding it.  the files all show up, but not in the
scheme.  i have since done this with other folders and it works fine for them.

I got it back..   unchecked populate tree, then re-checked it.

probably just a problem between the chair and keyboard.
