in the TAG window..... when right clcik and go to MORE TAGS..
TRACK # is not in the list. OR What am I doing wrong?

Track # is already in the topmost row of the Tag Window, to the immediate left of Name.
You'll notice that there are some tags that are always shown (Track #, Name, Date, etc). None of these are listed in "More Tags"

ok I get it...........you cannot select a group of files and change all the names or the track numbers. one at a time. So this should go to thread about tags.

Not in the tag window. You can do it in the details pane:
0. Switch your view to Details mode.
1. Select the files you want to change.
2. Hover your mouse over the field column (name or track #) that you want to modify.
3. Right click and choose Rename (or hit F2)
4. Enter what you want to change them to into the edit box that appears.
5. When you hit Enter or navigate away it will modify all the selected files to match.

It doesn't matter which field you hover over while hitting F2 -- it will always edit the most recent "clicked" field. Right clicking and hitting "rename" (as glynor also pointed out) is a better workaround.

Didn't know. Had always used the Right-click --> Rename option.

Don't be sorry because it is a bug/bad design. The track # in the past could always be edited in the tag window. It isn't now if multiple files are selected. I have been posting it lately in the bug reports, so I'll do it again:
When multiple files are selected, the tag window says "<varies>" and there is no way to enter a track number. Track # should be a field in the bottom window just like Name is listed twice.

There is no way to find out what size cover images are to determine if you want to find better ones elsewhere. It would be nice to have the File Size and Dimensions displayed just as if the image was imported and you were looking at that by itself. Right now if you hover over the cover art you get a tooltip of the filename. In the simplest solution, I wouldn't mind if a second line of the tooltip had this information like: 300x298 - 17.5KB.

You can't edit the number if multiple files are selected. All it says is <varies> which is referring to the name.
If Track # was listed down below like Name also is, then it solves the issue.

Or try using the Library Tool called "Fill Track Number from List Order".

They're talking about numbering multiple files with the same track number, which "fill track number" does not do. If you're in a situation where you need to do this, re-numbering them one at a time takes too long. Re-numbering them in the track pane does work, but it's not as handy as being able to do this in the Action Window like we could do in MC11.

Hopefully we'll see track # back as a "title" in the tag window, like it used to be in MC11 ;)
