I just helped some folks here recover over 100 Gb of data. Would have been much easier if there were a way to tell what was corrupted and what wasn't...
I recommend these two tools for creating and maintaining a database of hashes for your media files.
One I have used for quite sometime.
One I have just started to use because it is much faster, nearly 3 times faster here.
Both are free, both are command line tools.

As long as the file is not too large Directory Opus 8.2 Has a build in MD5 checksum, it will show up if you add it to the view scheme
