Title: DFX 7.3 plugin
Post by: mobyfrag on October 06, 2006, 10:02:37 am
Everyone could note that plugin DFX of FXsound is not compatible any more front MC 12. :( It is a large lack.
Could compatibility return? On behalf of FXsound? or J River? ::)

Nice day :)

PS: I think that the MC 12 icon would have advanced with the default theme “noire”. Perhaps a little more black, and transparency.

Didn't know there was a new version, but DFX 7.2 works here with MC.12

I thought so too when they switched from the BlueSteel skin as default in MC10 to ThunderStorm with MC11 (more purple, less blue).  It was explained to me at the time that the MC logo is the "branding" of Media Center and they want it to be consistent.  Makes sense to me now that I know more about branding.

That said... The Icon did get spiffed up a little in this release along with lots of the other artwork.  I think it's mostly good (I don't like the Playing Now icon, as it just looks like a blob in Noire but oh well).

And so does DFX 7.3.

Mobyfrag,

Make sure that you have your DFX activated, going to
Player -> Playback Options -> DSP
Make sure that the checkbox right beside DFX is checked.

Deivit link, I'm sure that all is active.
But, when DFX launches out with a music, there is no difference (improvement). Moreover Dynamic Sound Spectrum Analyzer is inactive… ::)
