Title: Crash while converting WMA to MP3
Post by: Kika on June 08, 2003, 08:15:22 pm
MJ is crashing while doing batch coversion of WMA's to MP3. I keep getting the WinXP msg. and prompted to send a report to MS. I can convert any number of files one at a time. But if I select more than one it invariably dies. I'm running 8.0.399 on XP. Any clues?

they maybe secure Windows Media Files.

MJ should not crash but they will also not convert.

there may also be other problems converting windows media files to MP3 due to the sample rate of windows media files.

Hi Kika,
Please can you tell us more details about the crash ? When you get the error message, there should be written module name and address and some other information.
It's important to know whether the error happens in wma decoder, mp3 encoder, media jukebox or some system library.

AppName: media jukebox.exe       AppVer: 8.0.399.0       ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0       Offset: 08589f04

Is this enough data?
