Hiya,
I've been ripping tons of cds and several times the program has given me multiple entries for the CD data. Some of these are obviously wrong.
It would be great if there was a button that instead of clicking 'accept' you could click 'wrong data' so that it would help out other users by alerting you that that data was wrong.
would save people getting data like I just got where the tracks were:
mom
dad
you
wish
fubu
faba
type stuff

Nice idea - I've considered something similar, but it's fairly complex to implement in a secure way. In the meantime, just post here with the exact time, your IP address if you know it, and the CD title/artist and I'll take a look.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
there have been quite a few to be honest but as I've ripped them already I cant recall offhand what they were.
How about just doing the opposite approach then?
instead of saying 'this one is wrong' - if 100 users choose CD info 1 and only 2 choose CD info 2 then chances are CD 2 is wrong.
just an idea.
Its munched through and ripped all my albums beautifully.
thanks!

The voting scheme is exactly what I'd been thinking of...
