I am using a Roku Soundbridge M1001 in combination with uPnP server. I have JRiver uPnP Server Version 1.0.37. I also have Media Server run at startup
Since I've started to use MC12, I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error when the Soundbridge tries to browse my MC library. This of course crashes MC12. This usually happens on a first run of MC after a bootup.
After the error I start the Media Server and restart my Soundbridge then I can connect to my library no problem.
This is obviously pretty annoying. I use uPnP to play music most of the time, so I'm kind of concerned about this. Downgrading isn't really an option since I have purchased MC12.
I never had this problem with MC 11.1. Are there some settings I need to know about?
Does anybody have any ideas?
Thanks.

Can you double check your settings in MC under the UPnP options? And compare with MC11 settings?

The settings are the same.
Always convert audio, mp3 encoder: lame 192kbps cbr, i'm not specifying a tcp port, and receiver is set to Soundbridge.
I tried specifying tcp port 2268 (a random one). It didn't help.

is anyone else seeing this problem? with soundbridge or any other uPnP device?

Is this the same problem?

If so, please post there.

I just confirmed that this works OK. The only setting I have to change is to always convert the audio for some reason. Not sure why that is, but works nonetheless.
I did have a problem originally with the Soundbridge connecting to MC and after upgrading the Roku to the latest update, that appeared to allow it to connect just fine.
Hope this helps.
