Title: Name that tune

Hi

Just wondering if anyone knows this song. The only problem is i don't know the name or artist, but what i do know is this.

In the music video, which i believe was released sometime in the 1980's, there was a member of the group dressed in a strange looking animal costume playing what i think was a cello or double bass. The band i think was hard rock or perhaps even heavy metal. The cello or double bass could be heard through out the song, especially at the end.

I know this isn't much info, so any help in identifying this song would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have part of the lyrics? Or even something that looks like it? A sentence or part of it might be enough to activate a dormant part of my brain. ::)

Heavy metal or hard rock is too vague for me, can you be more specific like naming a band that sounds like it?

Sounds like it could be "Mr. Krinkle" by Primus. It was released around '93, but it does feature Les Claypool in a pig mask/costume playing a cello with a bow.

no problem.  its off their album called Pork Soda.  its a great album imo.
