Title: Scrolling with arrow up/down in TAG window
Post by: 4BYE on October 20, 2006, 05:18:20 am
Hello,

I would like to know if more people would like to have the option of using the arrow up/down to scroll through some tag fields.

In MC 11, I recall I could go to "genre" and type a "b" and go down with my arrow down key to find "Blues". (with a capital that is).

This has two advantages:

I don't have to type a capital "B" and more then a "b" to acces "Blues" or "Bluegrass", just "b" and one or two times arrow down. I guess it's easier to go through genres etc anyway.

Cheers,

Theo

I just tried your example in 97 and it worked like you said you wanted it too. I made sure that the Genre was blank and picked a Genre that was off the screen and typed the first letter. The list showed the Genre and then I clicked the down arrow and it highlighted the Genre and displayed it on the top line. I could then cursor down to other Genres if I wanted to.

Hi,

I tried it again and it only works when I first click the small arrow right to open the genres.

I gues that is what you mean. If not my system acts weird.

I would like to type it right away in the box and then have the arrow down work.

Yeah I miss this too. It means one less keyboard->mouse->keyboard effort.

You're right, guess I was unintentionally clicking the down arrow too since I had to click the Genres in order to edit the field.
